    Zero turn mowers

Looking towards making a purchase of a zero turn mower. Looking into a 54”(ish) size deck, and wanting to stay with a Kawasaki engine. Leaning towards a Hustler right now, but what does the green screen say?

I've heard good things about the hustler xd line and up and would stay away from the base models the big box stores sell. I ended up going with a dixie chopper a few years ago and have been happy. Main thing to look for are the transaxles being serviceable & a solid welded deck. Both Kohler and Kawasaki are good to go from what I was told.

I have heard good things on the hustler also. You should be able to do a search for seton turn. There should be multiple threads on this topic.

Might look into the Gravely line as well, I bought a 60” with the Kawasaki engine and it has been fantastic.

          Zero turn mowers

Just go do it right up front and get a Scag Cheetah. I’ve played to the mower game for years and finally just bit the bullet this year. Should have done it a long time ago.

          By once, cry once.

You don’t see any lawn crews running Hustlers and Gravely......

I’ve had my scag 61” with the Kawasaki motor for 5 years and have nothing but good to say about it! It will cut circles around my last Kubota 326 diesel and half the price.

Mine is fuel injected and it’s sweet! My previous mower was a Kubota diesel also and the Scag kills it.

Exmark and Scag are the only real choices if you want a serious lawnmower.

I love my Ferris IS2100Z. If you want comfort, it is the Cadillac.

I own a Gravely HD with the Kawasaki engine. It's been a good mower.
