Draw or print a turkey, put a pinhole in eye

Only shots on turkey count, line cutters count. Closest edge of shaft to pinhole, on any given, day, wins.

Day1: miss, no turkey for me today.

Acquaintly appropriate target Reb.
Its domestic turkey slaughter day here today. Im gonna shoot whilst the blood vacates.
If anybody wants unprepared feathers...going rate of Free.99. Im separating left from rights. Im on the fence whether or not to fool with the tail feathers.

Saw an announcement somewhere that said:

Unfortunately, Thanksgiving is cancelled this year due to Covid.
Sadly, our pet turkey died; we'll be holding a visitation.
In lieu of flowers, please bring a salad -- or a side dish.

3 hens and 1 tom...Covid dead here. Mourning drivethru rescheduled at my place. Bring the garden...all the frenchies you can find for the green beans and a 55 gal drum of sweet taters. Bring your familes and your archery tackle.

Day 1: No measure (since I didnt hit body)

We had pizza last night on turkey paper plates...I dug one from the trash for the target. Im hoping the kids will find it more enticing to shoot than Dads artwork.

My turkey plucking assistant was offered an out...”You can either shoot the target turkey or start plucking the last turkey.” He opted to shoot the turkey.

Does it show that I really just don't enjoy eating turkey?

As my brother tells me a poor excuse is better than none and multiple poor excuses makes it even more pathetic so . . .

Yesterday I cut the skin on the middle knuckle of my string index finger to the bone. Drill hung and jammed it into a sharp aluminum edge while running a suction line for an irrigation pump on a ne dock. Wife suggested stitches, I bought some super glue and band aids so it's tight in the glove.

Today I was sedated for a minor procedure on my neck (ESI in the cervical spine) and the sedative was lingering as well as the fact I didn't have my contacts on due to the sedation.

I don't know what I'll come up with if I miss tomorrow. Although I'm sure I'll still be wearing a band aid!!![emoji6][emoji1]

Well I recieved a pass around longbow from another forum last night and I took her out this morning to shoot so I figured the first shot should be at the weekly challenge. The string was set up at 7&1/4" BH and I had to raise it to get it to group for me. And as usual with a bow cut to center it took me a bit to get the sight picture right.
But I hit the dang turkey anyway!
