    Love it

I had great luck fishing using the ole banjo minnow, caught several 4 lbers at Lake Arlington with them. 5" chartreuse worked great

I used to love the ads in Outdoor Life and Field and Stream:

Now the public can buy the lures that have been outlawed by bass tournaments because they work too well!

Wiggla Warts are the only thing I have left from the 90s.
Mister Twister is what I remember the most from back then though.
Manns purple worms were my go to bait more often than not.
            The infomercials were incredible lmao.
And essentially you had K-mart or Walmart to buy from, and only if you could get a ride into town.
This thread brings back a lot of memories.
I loved their "Keeper hooks" with the barbed spike. I still have packs from the 80's..

I was always in search of a new pack of keeper hooks. Love those things for plastic worms and lizards

                  Weed Wing -Panther Martin

I went to college at SFA in the 70's. We fished Murvaul and Rayburn a lot. We used to put a pork frog on the back of a weed wing and tear up the big bass over lily pads.

I used the **** out of those when I was a kid! I caught a few bass in the creeks behind my grandparents house on those.

I have a full kit never tied. Found in my old tackle box. My cousins and I tore up some golf course ponds with them as kids

I caught quite a few bass on a Bill Norman weed walker lure. It was a plastic spoon that had a blade cut out in the middle that would spin and throw water. Great top water bait over grass.
