Hit west Galveston yesterday and did a little reef hopping in the fog. Found some fish but they were pretty scattered. Caught most on red/white dsl and purple/white lil johns. Buddy and I ended up with 6 trout and 4 flounder including this 4 lber I stuck on the first Wade. Threw back 4-5 small flatties too.

That's a nice one, cool light spots too.

We went down to do some chores and clean up fish camp. Just fished land based for about two hours Sunday but caught a couple decent trout and hooked about a 38" Red on my trout rod that thankfully spit the hook after a few minutes. Lost a very very large trout a couple feet from the net. Everything on the same purple Gambler. The fog was cool how quickly it came and went. One minute I couldn't see my truck and the next minute it was clear then another cloud could be seen approaching.

Dude it was wild yesterday morning. We couldn’t see worth a dam until at least 11. We just idled around the same general area until we could see better.

Anyone got a source for current water temps surfside? I assume the jetty fishing heats up with the water.
