Terrible to hear this. Will miss his frequent check-ins to the Panhandle thread. Jody no longer needs our prayers, but many prayers to the family he leaves behind, especially for Cathe's recovery.

It was difficult to accept the news when I first heard. PowPow was a friend to everyone and will be truly missed. He loved his family and friends dearly. I'm going to miss his "good morning" sunrise pics, him singing along with some old school gangsta rap with his cap cocked sideways, his hunting adventures, as well as his wisdom. He loved his wife dearly and he wasn't shy about telling everyone how much he loved her. Sadly, I never got to meet him in person but I know we would have started that meeting with a handshake and ended it with a bear hug.
