Handheld band saw, that’s how I cut them at my place.

I wondered about this, but figured there is something I am not understanding about the question.

Well I bought the steel cutting circular saw blades. Diablo blades. Put it on my cordless hand saw and cut my T post that way. Super fast real easy.

If you have ever had a deer hung up on a post you would cut them off too. . . or hit one with an arrow. Hitting one with an arrow doesn’t sting (or stink) as bad as getting a deer hung up.

I have elk jumping in pen and I can see them gutting themselves.

How about those safety cappers they make, like around construction sites?

Buy some tennis balls and stick on the tops. Fast and cheap and easy.

In future use, use the short t post made for hog panels

Just don't set your lease on fire with any method you use. Dry, dry in Mills county.

Bolt cutters will work. Cut all three flats and bend it over. Beat the top with a hammer for a smooth finish.
