Nile Crocodiles will catch fish for the majority of their life’s.

Yesterday morning we had the opportunity to see them hunt tilapia in the shallows...

Both these crocodiles were well over 8ft in length

You don’t often find big warthogs in Kruger as they along with the Impala are species readily prayed on by the big carnivores...

This one sure must have some stories to tell about narrow escapes...

Hunting with a CANON in Africa (Live)

Took it a bit easier today.

Only did an afternoon drive and just got back after sun set.

Lit the fire for some blesbuck on the coals tonight and a thunderstorm rolled in.

Going to be a challenge getting coals ready this evening...[emoji85]

Glad you are enjoying the photos.

Will be on the road shortly to go and see what is happening in the Park after last night’s thunder storm

Amazing shots! Thank you for sharing!

I've got the 70-200 2.8 on my wish list and planning a 2x as well. Would you mind sharing some of the settings for these shots? I've heard the sharpness tends to fall off at the upper end on this lens with the 2x but I don't see any loss in your photos. Truly great shots.

With the 2.8 I dont have any issues with loss of sharpness in general, but I have had issues on longer distance shots on hot days. But then I had the same type of challenges with the 150-600 Sigma Sport I had before it got stolen.

You will enjoy the setup you are planning to get.

Wow. Amazing pics! This is my favorite thread I've seen in a good while. I'd love to get into photography but the last thing I need right now is another hobby. Keep the pics coming!

                            Much appreciated,

I am averaging over 500 photos a day... lot slower than in the past when I started out when it was around 2000 photos a day.

I will get more time to edit once I am home this weekend and then I will share more photos.

Sunset this afternoon from a hide over the Crocodile River.

We had a beast of a Nile Crocodile basking on one of the sandbanks below us.

Temps were in the upper 90’s
