Growing up I knew a couple of people that were there. It was interesting to here what they went through just to train for the invasion.

I thought that this was pretty interesting. In remembrance of the day an artist did thousands of these all over the Normandy beaches, with help.
Kinda give you some perspective of how many people gave their lives that day!
