No the Blue bloods with get together and leave Vandy behind just like Tech, TCU and Baylor have been. I'd be interested if anyone has put together a list of those 32.

I'm ready for Tech to go somewhere else. I hope it's pac12 to keep the revenue up. I will miss playing UT. I'm a realist and I believe given apples to apples Tech should never beat UT especially in football. The times we did are something to brag on and hang your hat on. David vs Goliath. I do have to say UT needs to go asap because the tech kids are going to throw car batteries at Chris Beard

If your going off fanbase size add BYU. Kansas/North Carolina have a big fanbase too but if we're going off football programs they don't get in.

I always thought moving to the PAC would be really awkward because of all the west coast start times. But if Tech could get another team or 3 to go with them, they could even out that schedule some. Tech is the one I feel the worst for in all of this. If only they hadn't effed up the Leach deal, they may still be swinging a bigger stick.

Nope this is a football only deal. Football dwarfs the other sports in terms of money, in fact the other sports rely on football to subsidize them. The only other sport that turns a profit is mens basketball and at some schools womens basketball.

I think you would have to look at all sports as a whole. Not just football.
