I just can’t pass up a good shot on a tasty critter.

Some great critter killin' going on above by Jeff, BDan, Gary, pdot and Bisch, to name a few.
Been a while since I could contribute to the thread, but here's a 37" scimitar-horned oryx taken Friday on a morning hunt at TBH sponsor Tim King's place, London Oaks Ranch, near Brady. Was guided by our own Bisch -- a human good luck charm, evidently.
Equipment was a Weathers 67-lb recurve, shooting a 600-grain 300-spine Black Eagle carbon arrow, tipped with a 300-grain Tuffhead single bevel broadhead.
Ten yard shot resulted in a pass-through, with animal expiring in sight 40 yards away.

Another great weekend at London Oaks Ranch indeed! As usual, Tim's (and his family's) hospitality, the camaraderie and the abundance of game made for great memories.
It was great to hunt with gentlemen like Andrew, Ellis and Bisch. Gary (DRT) was also there...
Ellis' scimitar oryx was a sight: nice mass and great symmetrical horns.Last edited by Horsehide; 11-08-2020, 05:40 PM.
