                  Great stuff! We have made it every year since you first posted the recipe. My wife makes all sorts of candy during the holidays and this one is awesome.

                  Oops, posted on the wrong thread. Wife makes the toffee every year, still want to make a run at the nut brittle.

                      Sounds great!

                      A family friend is famous for his chili pequin brittle, similar to the cayenne in this recipe. He dries/grinds the peppers and adds to the mix. Then adds a drizzle of chocolate that helps with the "bite" of the pepper.

                              My grandmother use to make peanut brittle for the church bake sale.. it's been a long time I'll ask my wife to give it a try..
