Mine came in today. I think it turned out great, can't wait to shoot it!

Tier 1, 20" 7mm-08, 1:8 twist. Seekins medium rings with a VX6HD 3-18x44 on top.

Big shout out to APR. picked up my rifle, they went above and beyond to accommodate me!

Had a last minute drive up to DFW to spend time with family. Called the shop thinking they would be closing at 4pm, turns out they close at 2pm! Told them I’d be driving in from Katy and was hoping to pick the rifle up. The generously agreed to keep the shop open an extra hour so I could get pick up the rifle! Excellent service, can’t recommend them enough!!

Beautiful elk!!! Ugh, I’m attempting to patiently wait for the call on my build. Garrett told me “cross your fingers it’s done by this weekend”. I REALLY wanted to take it this weekend for some range time in between hunts.

Here's a kill from last month by my son with his new APR. 6.5 PRC from about 180 yds with a 147 ELD-M. No exit but DRT.

Congrats on the critters, everyone! Hope to see more as the seasons really get going. Our very own Dave had another pretty good run in AK with his 6.5PRC last week! A single 130 TSX did the trick.
