I recently replenished my cooler inventory with various sizes that we mostly use and I'd like to better manage them and ensure their return.

The question is: What is the best way to mark my coolers with my name, logo or brand? I'm afraid a sticker would come off. I've thought about using a stencil and paint. I thought maybe using my electric branding iron to lightly "brand" the outer plastic core. I thought about using a Dremel tool to scribe my name into the cooler. In the past, I've used a Black marker, but I want something that looks a little better than that.

Does anyone have any good ideas? Do's or Don'ts?

Keep a stock of cheap styrofoam coolers around to use as “loaners” then it won’t hurt so bad not to get them back.

Brand them. You could have a larger thin brand made and do them all. Looks sharp i think. I believe some people even put paint pen in the brand to stand out. Black on white cooler. Light pen on darker coolers.

Better yet, quit loaning out your coolers !!!!
You can write whatever on a cooler and it will still walkoff.

I branded my first yeti. Turned out great. Actually had a lid warp warranty issue and told them I had branded it and they still took it back with no complaints or trying to say the brand caused the problem.

Erin had this sticker made for me when it was new. A girl she works with has a side gig making these types of things. Anyway, I tore it when it was newly on there but has actually held up really well. Oh, and I don’t let people use my coolers.

My dad takes a giant sharpie and writes "MINE DAMMIT" on all his coolers. Works well lol.

I'm keeping a couple of old coolers with busted latches, loose hinges and lost or cross-threaded plug caps just for this occasion.

I've branded my roto-mold coolers and it works great. Still prolly won't keep them from being stolen.
