Saw that, too. When they were winning their participation trophies, someone forgot to teach them how to throw a football. I’ve coached youth football and baseball some and during skill level tests, it’s amazing how many kids have no idea how to throw any type of ball correctly.
I never had a coach to work with throwing mechanics. Was an outfielder in HS for a year then called my sports career a wrap. But i could zing a football in the backyard though, lol.
Kids just don’t learn those things on their own anymore. No more neighborhood football games. Its sad really.

I’m not even talking about mechanics.....I’m talking just being able to throw, like you’re supposed to throw. I understand some kids are more athletic than others, but growing up we could all throw and catch.
