Instead of driving Sami in and Corning I walked most of way and used small bucket to corn. Feeder goes off at 7:30 and I handed corn where they pre stage often. There is lot of new green growth in low spots where snow melt settled but they been still coming here often. 3 good axis

Big group of axis came and were in brush within 15 yards of me. Antlers and does everywhere. See spots everywhere through bushes right here on top of me. Hadn’t moved a muscle and suddenly they spooked and took off. Don’t know if caught wind or something else. Wind died down then started again. I’m not giving up yet. They didn’t go far They came from side they never come from of course. Normally come straight across the opening.
