Hasn't phased our peacocks and they sleep in trees in this same as turkeys, difference is we feed but they and chickens still wander eating

Not one bit. The turkey at our house has weathered it good

Rios survive in much colder places than what we had

Yep, up here they yard up and hit the hay stacks. Ranchers hate them in winter, good time to make phone calls looking for access.

I sure hope they make it at our place. We've had a couple of years when there is big ice, and the spring is littered with one legged turkeys hopping around to get to the feeders or turkeys with only one good leg doing the same.....like they got stuck to the roost branch in the ice and injured their leg trying to get off. No telling how many died due to the cold or being vulnerable to predators down a leg.

Didn’t seem to affect them at my place here in South Texas.

I seen Rio that live up to 9500 ft. I do not know what they do when there is a foot of snow on the ground but I know they live there.

So far so good out in Brown County. The turkeys absolutely disappeared for 4 or 5 days during the worst of it. Must have been hold up down in the creek bottom. A couple groups have been on the plots and at feeders the last couple days.
