Not to detour too much, but was is the best “cheap” brand of coffee?

    Sorry OP
Community coffee is good for less expensive brands of ground coffee
HEB brand is pretty decent, Kona , pecan, city blend

Expensive is like Jamaica blue mountain pea berry @ $115 per lbs
    Hawaiian private label
Or exotic stuff from Bali $250 lbs

“” Black Ivory Coffee – More than $500/pound
Finca El Injerto Coffee – $500/pound
Hacienda La Esmeralda– More than $500/pound
    Kopi Luwak – $160/pound
    Saint Helena Coffee – $79/pound
Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee – More than $50/pound
    Fazenda Santa Ines – $50/pound
    Starbucks Quadriginoctuple Frap – $47.30/cup
    Los Planes Coffee – $40/pound
    Hawaiian Kona Coffee – $34/pound “”

If you live in a metro area, check out Central Market. They have tons of coffee flavors and are fresh. Personal favorites are Texas Pecan and Vanilla Cinnamon Pecan.

Black Rifle Coffee Co guy here.
Same! Black Rifle blows other coffee away in my opinion. Makes it even better that it’s a veteran ran company that I like to give my money to.

I like coffee. And I mean I really like coffee. But I am fortunate that my tastebuds aren't crazy about most of the high end coffees I've tried. I guess all that sophistication is lost on me. I am very content drinking my low end Community, HEB, Independence Coffee, etc. I just like what I like and I ain't ashamed of it.

Buy Black Rifle “Silencer Smooth”. 12oz bag is $15. Less expensive if you buy the 5# bag for $75.

Tom Petty apparently was a coffee aficionado. He was a Maxwell House guy, lol

Speedyway coffee is surprisingly good I've found. I love coffee so normally gas station coffee is just a habit item, but theirs was good.

I usually drink homebrew too (Black Rifle club member here), but every now and then I am on the road and have got to get a cup of coffee at a gas station, so thanks for the tip. I'll try it!

Side note, have you ever gone years of drinking coffee multiple cups, every day. And then try to cold Turkey quit, I don't recommend it!

Love the Cefco coffee bar, but I usually get it at the station at 31 and 2661 closer to home. I stop at the 314/I20 location a lot for gas/bathroom break, will have to try it there as well. I usually just get the Columbian.
