One of my favorites growing up for sure.

          Rest easy!

Saw Doug in Giddings at Texas Star. It was well worth the money.

He played in Portland ND back in 96 or 97 at Sodbusters Saloon. My favorite song is What’ll you do about me.

I knew him...he was a family friend. His mom (Rose) and my grandma were best friends...my mom grew up babysitting Doug when he was a wee buck. Sad deal. God speed and rest easy Doug.

I remember him getting banned from the HLSR performances after his stunt from the rafters. We used to follow him around a bit when he was starting out...I’d always end up in his bus playing Nintendo and playing with his road pet, a pot belly pig (can’t remember it’s name). Too bad I was so young...woulda liked to party with him back then! He was a bit of a wild one!
