I pulled out of the driveway at 5:41am and pointed this rig north again! We have hunters showing up in camp today to this will be a hunting/ part time guiding expedition. We picked up another couple of pieces of land in Collingsworth Co so that frees up a tag in my pocket! The rut is tapering off if not finished so bucks should start pouring onto the green fields.
I got off of work on Thanksgiving morning and was able to get sole much needed family time. Adalee and I made 1 hunt by the house and 0’d but there than that I have been pretty bowed up.
I left the bow at home this go round. We’re looking to get “Mandingo” his first kill. He’s a Remington 700 LR M40 in 7mm Mag and absolutely shoots like a dream. Carlos the Browning .280 is riding along just incase his services are needed. This should be a fun hunt. Y’all stay with me and I’ll update as often as I can.
