    Arrow after the kill?

After you guys shoot an animal, will you still use that same arrow or do you count it as a lost cause? After all the pics I have seen of arrow fragments in hands I get nervous about things like that.

Keep on shooting. I had an ACC 360 that killed 17 animals with before a big boar hog broke it.

If it kills it’s usually my go to arrow as long as it checks out

Yes but I do flex it just a bit to make sure all is good.

I personally retire an arrow after a kill. I know I could possibly use it again but I never do. I guess I would if I had to but I never need more than half a dozen arrows in a season unless I do a lot of pig stickin'.

Find it inspect it and if all checks out . Nock it on the next hunt.

It is sitting on my mount/antlers on the wall.

Retire the arrow, attach the deer tag to it and hang it across an old European mount in my garage.

Have yet to take anything with my bow, (hopefully I'll get a pig this Friday,) but I'll probably reuse arrows that pass a flex test after passing through small/non-game.
Big game like deer, or elk arrows will likely hang from the antlers.

I have gotten three animals with the same arrow. It got broken on the last one.
