    Heart Issue!

Had a heart cath yesterday (2nd in 6 years), because my cardiologist wanted to check on my aortic valve. It doesn’t close completely and is getting worse. Cath confirmed his concern so we go this week to visit a specialist to see if we are suitable for a TAVR surgery. (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)

    Anybody gone through it?

      Negative.
I do have a friend that has 2 titanium heart valves though.
You can always hear her ticking if you listen close.
Almost 15 yrs now, and she seems healthy as can be.
Here's to a full recovery if you go that route .

My 86 year old father went through this procedure last year. He was under twilight anesthesia for most of the procedure. It lasted no more than 20 minutes. We were called back to see the doctor- he said everything went perfect. By the time my mother and I found his room (45 minutes later) he was eating breakfast. He’s had zero issues after the surgery.

PM me and I’d be happy to discuss

Gods got this bro. My father went through triple A surgery (aneurism on his aorta) at age 80. He lived eight more years as my mom’s primary care giver. Your in His hands. What better place to be.

I had my aortic valve replaced the first part of last month but had to go with the full open heart surgery because of an aneurysm on my aorta. My surgeon said if it has to be replaced again they can go with a TAVR surgery. I hope you are able to have the TARV surgery because I would think the recovery would be easier than open heart.

I have had heart issues in the past and God has seen me through them. So I'm asking him to watch over your procedure too. Good luck!
