    My First Bow Kill

I invested in a used Hoyt around 8 or 9 years ago and have tried my hand at hunting from a ground blind unsuccessfully for all of these years with a bow. I have to admit that I usually transition to rifle as soon as the season opens up with the exception of Turkey hunting, i have been stubborn about bow only hunting. This weekend, I decided to invest in a treestand. Gamechanger! First hunt in around the trees yielded many deer observations and my first kill with my bow.

Congrats on the first one!!! Nice pig. Getting off the ground and up in the tree is the only way to go for me.

                      Way to try something different.

I usually only blind hunt with my kids. Not a fan of looking out that window.
