    Homeade Venison Stew!

This evening momma made some homeade cubed backstrap stew! She cubes the backstrap and smother fries the pieces and then adds it to the stew! She has made this several time for us but I believe it gets better and better each time! It was delicious!

                Looks awesome!

My wife makes me cut her 10# of stew meat out of every doe I kill. Usually 1 strap, the rest out of a ham.

We make ea batch w 2#s of the stew meat & 2#s deer burger. It's mainly a "meatlovers" type stew.

She throws some danged ol veggies in there too, but it's still good. (Sliced taters, diced onion, corn, green peas, green beans, and black beans - those really set it off). I refuse to let her ruin it w carrots (yuck).

Our "go to" meal on cold, miserable weeks! It's even better on days 2 and 3 (if it lasts that long).

Hot out, but I could go for a bowl now.

Almost looks like a gumbo meats chili type of thing. What's all in it? I'm still looking for new ways to cook this stuff. Neck roasts so far are my favorite.

Its just a bunch of vegetables with deer meat in it. It's got potatoes, carrots, green beans, peas, fresh jalapeƱos.
