              just turn it loose somewhere. Or kill it. Your call. if they are not near my dogs or any children I just move on.... the yard?? that is generally a death sentence carried out immediately.

                I relocate them when it convenient.

                Last one I caught I put in a 5-gallon bucket and walked about 20' away to get a lid. When I got back to the bucket he was gone.

                Unfortunately, he was in a stack of straw bales under the plastic, and he went back into the bales.

                Around here snakes love to get between bales.

                        They actually make great gifts for someone who is interested in herpetology or a snake as a pet. Easy to maintain, and if you decide you no longer want it, release it in the woods and not risking introducing an invasive species like burmese pythons.
