When we hunted outside of Boerne, those things would sound like a heard of buffalo coming down a dry rocky creek bottom, full of large dry leaves. By the end of the first season we hunted out there, I was ready to start shooting them.
I guess it was double lung. Puppy in pic had it bayed n the woods right next to the house. Sad to admit, my first kill of the fall. Broadhead is a 205 grain Simmons Safari. TAW 660ish. No issues with penetration. Lol
I am impressed the arrow is still straight and in one piece. I haven't tried shooting one since I quit shooting aluminum arrows, but they can bend up one of those.
