                    My thought as well, only bow kill I've ever heard of was after dogs had bayed it.

                    Huge congrats OP, that's an awesome accomplishment! We hunted near that area in the early 2000's and had a couple of rifle kills and multiple sightings, that long tail floating gets my blood pumping at 100 yards, can't imagine at a few feet!
