W lake at 4.6 feet above normal.

A lake at 2.51 feet above normal. A lake had a good bit of run off from the last rain.

W lake still dropping. Sitting at 3.67 feet above normal at the moment. They also reduced the water release to 11,609 cfs. PK has a minimal release of 294 cfs. And Grandbury is releasing 880 cfs.


A lake is 2.42 feet above normal. And releasing 940 cfs.


I'm about ready to bust some birds. Maybe wet a hook too.

Me too! If only there were ducks in Texas. Maybe this year we will see one! Two more kid deer hunts and we will switch gears for a while. May even go before the split.

Got it done tonight. Many thanks to my good friend for help fending off the coyotes while we got her out. Straight through the heart, passed through the neck and the arrow went straight into the neck and lodged by the skull. Didn’t make it too far...

Awesome!! Friend of mine shot a deer last night too. Thought it was a doe, turns out to be a buck whos antlers dropped,assuming in a fight or something. Really odd for this time of year?

If it was in a fight there should be broken stubs I would think. If it shed its antlers already I would be concerned it was sick. Did your friend notice anything out of the ordinary while processing it?
