Settled in.

I changed my strategy up bit this morning.

While Sitting in the ground blind yesterday we saw a lot of deer cutting across the field coming out of the creek bottom.
Clark said he had witnessed the same activity while hunting the ladder stand yesterday morning.
So I grabbed my climber and headed in. I'm 30 yards from the field edge, which is loaded with scrapes. I have a beautiful bottom to shoot in just about any direction I want. I can see the spot where Big Bob stepped out yesterday. Hoping he'll show his self today.
Had a dink at the base of my tree at daylight. So it appears i picked a good tree.

Clark is in the back of the property in the same stand he sat our first evening. Right on the edge of a cut corn field.
Deer moved all night as per cell cameras so I'm hoping mid day movement will be good.

Clark is having a great hunt. Several small bucks and he just had the Trashy 8 come in behind him. He thinks he may have winded him. He didn't stick around long.
That's the first time that buck has been seen on the hoof. Clark said he is a toad!!!
