I am not a teeth aging professional…. How old is this buck? 4th tooth is 3/8” wide, one side is almost gone

I agree. My best guess was 10+. It’s almost to the jaw bone and one side is impacted.

If that deer was 9 pulse all of his molars would be worn to the gum line like his 4th molar is. The teeth show 6.

By the “book” you could make an argument for 7 on those teeth. But as we all should know by now, that book doesn’t mean squat. That deer was likely 8-12 years old.
