Historically I've seen them chasing every year from opener to thanksgiving. In my area, it doesnt seem like there is a definite rut like other places I hunt.

Same at our place. They just never really did any noticeable chasing this season at all. I’m going to make at least one doe pay for not doing her job this weekend. LOL

I was heading up to our farm today for the last weekend of doe season. Decided to stop for an afternoon hunt at the lease and I sure am glad I did. Ended up getting this 180 lbs. 10-point at just after 5 o’clock. It’s been a tough season so far but this made it all worth it.
