I turned around to see a large bodied buck standing behind a limb of the pecan tree I was hunting from. I couldn't tell exactly how big his horns were due to the low light but he looked like a shooter. About 5 minutes later he stepped into my shooting lane 30 yards away.[IMG][IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

I got meat duties tonight and tomorrow night. 17 hour brisket tonight for tomorrow's dinner. And another tomorrow night for Saturday afternoon. Not sure when I'm gonna sleep. Maybe Sunday?

Yesterday was a great day to be in the woods. Saw several hunters enjoying the evening hunt.

In case I don't get a chance to get back on here for a couple of days. Merry Christmas to all and enjoy being with those you love. Life is short.
