I have a couple CZ 550s one in 416 Rigby the other in 460 Weatherby. I also have a Ruger No1 in 450-400 and a double rifle in 500 Nitro express. I have several 45-70s and a 450 Marlin but to me when I think big bore they do not really come to my mind. I have a pile of Med bore rifles that I shoot more than the true big bores. I am a huge fan of my 375 H&Hs

I think you’ll like it. I have a lefty Alaskan model from back when they were difficult to find, and it shoots like a big 30-06. Doesn’t even feel like a huge jump up in recoil, just more of the same.

Messed up once on a red hartebeest, was surprised next morning when my PH showed up with a Marlin guide gun in 45-70. He did clean up my little mess though.

Does a 450 Bushmaster count here
I know it is a Black rifle and does not have the romance of a 300H&H.
                BUT.
It does launch a 300gr slug at SS speeds (1950fps)
5.56 next to it for comparison.

                  Big Bore Rifles

It appears some folks don’t understand the definition of bore.

                  I have a couple.

Marlin 1894 41 mag (barely makes the cut [emoji51])

Henry 41 mag carbine octagon barrel:

                  450 Marlin TC Encore

Marlin 1895 XLR in 450 Marlin (no pics [emoji849])

It does for me. I have an SBR and I use the same exact ammo you have there. It's my pig flipper.

Ok grandpa. I guess I’ll post my “big bore” since my 375 doesn’t count
