thanks everyone. was a fun quick little project

right now the idea on the boat is when i get a shop built...(future) make it into a bar and stick it in there. not sold on the idea myself, but i've been given pintrest pics to make it happen.

the boat (not the bottom) is actually in pretty good shape and usable. the windscreens still hinge open and the frame is still tight. real craftsmanship

as far as the red flag, i was prepared to transfer the flag from the new plastic mailbox that i chopped up and stick it on the cowl, but i cannot remember the last time i've sent anything out, like we did in the old days... with a stamp. if the urge hits i can send out from work
oh, and the real reason is boss said no, i don't want the ugly red flag.

i did install a outboard motor locking bar to help keep it from walking off. didn't know they made such a thing. but now i need some way to secure the brass prop but still allow it to spin.
currently just a cotter pin holds it on.

open to some ideas, dont want it to come up missing
