    Small screw extraction

Any thoughts on how to get this busted screw out of my cam? It broke below the surface somehow during a draw. Don't want to mess up the threads as I'll need to replace it of course.

I would bring it to a shop.

Pull cam, and drill on a drill press. If you drill it from the back side of the screw the drill bit will probably catch halfway through and unscrew the remaining stud

Small left handed bit and a lot of patience.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm thinking I might try and drill with a standard bit from the back side, see if I can get it to screw out that way. Just need a smaller bit.

Go slow and use oil. A bit that small will snap if it gets in a bind...then you'll have a different problem.

Was able to drill it out .. Couldn't get the remaining sleeve to break out so had to run a tap to clean it out but all is good now. Have a set of lucky stops on the way to replace. Thanks for all the input.

Remove the cam. Use reversible drill bits.

Why didn't you just grab it with vise grips and twist it out?

Looks like plenty there to grab onto

Or am I not seeing a part of the stop sticking up?
The last picture sure looks like you could grab it
