Birds should be on the ground a little before 6:30 and hopefully we’re playing ball by 6:45
Cameras show these birds flocked up to the tune of 29 hens, 5 jakes, and 4 longbeards.
Decoys will be a feeder hen and the mating pair...I’m hoping the jerk cord and motion is enough to get the toms to break off from the flock.
Decoys will be set at 15 but I’ll let Kayden shoot to 20Comment

Work weekend at the lease in the hill country this weekend. Cameras show some of our birds survived the snowpocalypse at least. Got a couple mouthy hens talking I can hear from camp. Only heard two gobbles songs far. We’re North zone so we’ve got a couple weeks before we get to start playing with these birds.Comment
