I sat for an hour one day on the side of the road watching two big bull elk trying to kill each other one afternoon years ago on that ranch. It has always been a beautiful place.

      Wow. Nice property.
We are in Hunt and loving the Hill country too.
Visited the YO and saw a lot of game. Sad recent history over there, but the new owners are bringing it back.

Last night I drove a truck right up to a huge herd of oryx and two bison right by one house that I could have touched out of the window. Animals here seem oblivious to vehicle traffic but when I’m out on foot they head for the hills PDQ.

My father in law is the new ranch manager on this place. I’ve been up there a handful of times and it’s an amazing place. I actually have a few of my sheep up there in the breeding pen up front. Everyone should try to hunt here at least once.

I was invited on a hunt out there a couple years ago with freedom care warrior project on a veteran hunt. Guide at the time was David. Really is a beautiful place. I was lucky enough to put down a nice ram.

Moved to the area 18 years ago and never looked back. Abut 8 miles east as the crow flies.
