Super nice 8! Congratulations on getting him with your bow. Man he sure looks old in that first picture. Tell us more about the hunt. Was he chasing?

He wasn't chasing, I've seen no real chasing while hunting this year. Some young bucks messing with does but thats it. I've seen some real deal rutting from the truck but for whatever reason I don't think our does have come in heat yet.

We butchered it ourselves, didn't have scales but he was big. My buddy who did most of the butchering worked at Fischers for a dozen years and he said it was one of the biggest bodied deer he has done.

Congrats man. He looks SO much bigger in the kill-shots than he did on camera lol that's a ****** 8!

He truly grew when I walked up on him. I didn't think he was that big.
