No luck! Arrow doesn't look good either. Did jump a deer 400 yds or so from shot and we backed out. Rough night for him ahead.

Back to reality I guess you could say today. I'll get some more hunts at my place later this week.

I own 88 acres low fence here in Henderson County. That is where all of my hunting will take place.

Buck last night my buddy shot looked to have been gut shot on exit. I found a small pond on an aerial 400 yds from shot and he went there this morning to look. He found him bedded on the edge of the water ALIVE. He backed out and headed to his house for his bow, range finder and binos. Buck looked at him while he was there but didn't move. He is headed back shortly and will take a closer look at him. Looks like he will get to 40 yds or so and hopefully finish him off!

Glad he at least found him. My dog did jump a deer 100 yds from here and I'm almost certain it was him. Good thing we backed out.

I'll update as I receive info!

Realistically this deer is closer to 140" than he is 150" but still a toad of an 8pt.
