      Top 10

My brother was 3rd out of over 1000. Graduated from Texas A&M in 2.5 years Summa *** Laude with three degree is Chemistry, Math, and Physics. Went on to get his PHD from Caltech. It was totally paid for and they paid him $60k/year living expenses on top of that.

Me on the other hand was a little above half in a class of 1,000+. Haha. But I’m doing just fine.

I majored in girls, muscle cars, money (I worked full time starting at 16 years old), dope and beer in high school. 1975-1980.

I had to go to summer school in 1980 to graduate.

Your brother sounds like a cousin of mine. Also graduated very high out of a large class. Went to A&M & came out with a PhD in Petroleum Engineering & now has 26 patents
Me on the other hand I’ve probably killed 26 pigs

I was 2nd at the end of junior year and finished 23rd out of 400+ senior year. Work and women reduced my desire to climb that ladder in school. Although my ACT and SAT were higher than the valedictorian.

Now knowing you came from Pasadena I am not surprised at any of your responses.

I might have not been top 10 in book smart but might have been too 10 in common sense.

Not top 10 but 14 out of 1140 plus or minus a few

Believe that puts you in the majority. Algebra was my favorite subject; took it three times and they finally graduated me.
