But nothing wrong with people who gamble for fun trying to increase their odds. And that includes avoiding worse odd games etc. Which is why I'm curious about player cards etc.

If my $200 can last just a few hours longer that would be great LOL
This is basically us, I don't go to movies, concerts, etc....and we go for pure entertainment and to kill time and leave when we lose our $200 or like this past week we left up $800, $700 and $500 and one day lost $300 which included our free play money. We were up over what we left with but played it down some to see if we could add to it. Some days out in 2 beers and other days we are there for 5 hrs getting up and down and never knock it out of the park but stay in there killing time and hoping to hit. Month or so ago at Border casino my wife hit 2 jackpots over $800 each within 5 minutes.....lady at Mega next to me told me week before she hit $36,000 on .88 bet and getting new windows in her house. Watch guy 2 games down from me at Winstar hit $12,000 on $1.76 bet and he had no idea how he did it, we did and told him what happened. In Shreveport older lady sitting right between wife and I hit $10,000 on .88 bet and acted like no big deal, I said that to her son sitting behind her and he said she had hit 4 or 5 that year can't remember exactly.

My buddy hit $15,000 at Mega on a $3.52 bet and had no clue how it happened on Pig machine few months ago.

FYI, free crab at Winstar generally ends up not being free.......

Only machine that you can count on paying is the ATM

We are leaving Coushatta Lake Charles now. We covered the cash we brought with, but not the room. They only comped our room twice, figured out we weren’t big spenders and that gravy train ended.
Using the cards is how I would guess they know our spend.
Wheel of fortune is our break even game.

Does the Livingston casino? Have lodging and serve adult drinks?

I haven't been in a casino since a trip to Vegas in 1989, where I lost about $500 total. I did win about $100 at the airport waiting to go home. My pockets were stuffed with quarters on the flight home.
I haven't been to a casino since, I figure I'm money ahead by not going.

This is what drives me crazy but it's their money. I play table games and very few slots only when the wife wants me to sit with her. Someone will Sit at the table games and ask how do you play this game. There are so many books, utubes and videos how to play and strategy on each games. If you going to play table games study it in and out before you go gambling. I saw this a couple of trips ago this young guy and his buddies sat down at ultimate Texas hold 'em. He was betting like $300 at a time. When he was dealt his first 2 cards and didn't like them he folded and he was telling his buddy to do the same thing He didn't even wait for the flop. My wife and I just looked at each other. What an idiot. They lost about 5 thousand in about 10 minutes and walked off. The dealer just shook her head and smiled.

They never let me win more than $50. I seldom go and if wife gets ahead $100. She stops once she looses. Me I stay til last $1 I have

No it doesn't have lodging and no adult beverages. They only have slots also and no table games. The slots are not even the same ones like in Louisiana and Vegas. They are bingo based games.

Coushatta and Lauberge is where we do the best.

Quick casino story – for those of you who listen to 7:40 AM out of Houston. They are currently running an ad for $1000 a free play at Coushatta if you win (8 lucky winnersI believe) - fill out the sweepstakes online on their webpage.
I filled this out a few years ago, hoping for some discounts on rooms and actually won $1000 in free play and 2 nights stay- that’s what got our Coushatta ball rolling. Out of the thousand dollars we came home with over $800. my system is not great but I don’t come home empty-handed lol.

They’re running the ads right now . for those willing to gamble there’s nothing to lose on signing up.

I was never spammed because of it afterwards.

Not sure about the lodging but no alcohol at Livingston. They have coffee, cokes, and water.

                        Casino ?
Has anyone given the Horseshoe on Lake Charles a shot.
They evidently remodeled / restored the Isle of Capri and opened it as the Horseshoe- a Ceasars entertainment endeavor.
We noticed it was open when driving by last week and was curious about it.

Don't think they are rigged but you are right tables games are the best odds.
