    Trailer bouncing what to check

DUKFVR is on the road pulling his utility trailer unloaded. Said it's got a bounce to it between 20-30 then goes away. It's never done this when either of us have pulled it. Bearings are tight. Tires are ok. Nothing obviously broken with the springs. Anybody know what else it could be? Thanks

Did you have the tires balanced?

Always get the tires balanced on a trailer!!! The tire guys look at ya funny but it is worth it in saved bearings and a smoother ride.

Maybe a small bubble on tire or too much air pressure?

Pretty sure they were balanced. Been on there a while and getting bald but until now no issues. Was thinking bad belt or tire but he put on the spare and no change.

Last time I drug a trailer that did that a tire had a flat spot. Like y'alls it only did it at lower MPH so I sent it.

Busted cord, or bubble on a tire.

Jack it up where you can isolate the tires and spin them. Most likely you will find your problem (bubble, flat spot, or just out of 'round'.

Bubble on tire or separated tire cord. Had lots of them over the years. Just about the same thing IMO.
