Don’t bother with recessed cans. Instead of cans use a surface mount LED like these:

They mount in a 4” octagon box. This is what a lot of new home builders are starting to use.



On the next house I build the washer and dryer will go in the master closet.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but a big sink in the garage is nice to have
