This morning is starting slow. Not one sighting yet. Probably gonna bang some horns and see what happens.

That lasted about 10 seconds. As soon as the horns hit a small buck came running. Also had a 115” 8 and about 150” 10. Neither came within range. Now that the woods are stirring I’m gonna sit still fit a while. Just heard some bucks fighting in the distance.

Perfect conditions. I know that every deer is up on their feet moving. I need big boy to swing by.

I’m sitting on the edge of an oak flat with a food plot about 100 yards from me to the north. There’s a ridge that rises out to the east that had 90% of the pines removed about 3 years ago. Seems like the deer love to travel right on the edge of this oak flat, so I’m in the prime spot.
