You want a 16' Kenner with a factory rebuilt Yamaha 70 that way you can comfortably fish fresh and salt. I think I know a guy that can hook you up with an awesome deal

What I have as well. JH Outlaw runs in mist.. lol

They have some in the water boat shows in galvatraz and another toward rock port. The Houston boat show is a good place to see what you can get in your budget and go from there.

Regarding the Houston one, is it a specific show or all the shows there?

In my opinion the winter show is better. It's usually the first week or so of January. They'll have everything from kayaks to million dollar yachts.

When I bought my rig I had it narrowed down to two hulls. There was 2 or 3 dealers for each there. We were able to spend time with each before cutting a deal and did it at the same place.

It's a good show that I try and make every year just to look

I had a 1660 flatbottom with a jet drive that would run in 2" of water, The thing I really hated about that was it ran wayyyyy shallower than it would float and when you got stuck you were SOL,I mean you could be 100 yds from water you could get the boat up in it's a nightmare. Now I have a 20' airboat with a 496 Big Block and I don't even need water anymore ,LOL !

Picked this one up a couple weeks ago!

2002 21’ Flats Cat with a 140 Suzuki, came with a Lowrance HDS 7, 8’ powerpole and minnkota ipilot. Under 400 hours on it.

Should be a good first fiberglass boat.

23 Shoalwater cat with 250 SHO, trp lower unit. About the best all around boat I have been in. The 23ft Haynie cat is right there with it.
