Had to go this morning and put our German/ Rott. mix down of 12yrs. Daughter is heart broken. She was a good watch dog.

sucks and I feel your pain I have an appointment this afternoon to do the same for my buddy of 16yrs.

I understand the heartache. I had to put my boy Jake asleep 2 weeks ago. I really struggled for a few day, and while watching TV one night I heard a quote from Winnie the Pooh and it really ease my grief.

“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

Hardest thing to do is to loose a close 4 legged family member (outside of loosing a 2 legged family member). I have lost too many but try to remember the good times. Sorry for your loss, but just remember they are waiting for you across the Rainbow Bridge.
