Going live at Mason Mountain WMA

A great place to hunt AND stay. Been on 2 hunts there, both exceptional. The last one was very different in that it rained every day, all day but saw tons of animals. Both were gun hunts.

Would love to go on a bow hunt there.

The hunt ends tomorrow at 10am but we leave tonight after the evening hunt

Finally little movement for me but it was only 2 waterbuck doe ( should that be waterdoe[emoji3]) and a nubbin axis. Thinking now that axis doe last night was this nubbin.

Not busting your chops, but they are actually Waterbuck COWS and a male is a Waterbuck Bull.

Went back in about 10:30 got a quick bite to eat and talked to some other hunters and now back in the stand

6 javelina and 2 doe for me. These management hunts can be so frustrating as you see everything you can’t shoot.
