Man, those food plots look STRONG. Sure wouldn't mind throwing some of them turnips in a big ol pot with some smoked pork neck!

Y'all fill that skinning pole up! Good luck.

Not to be outdone, the next generation of Woodbury County boys were first up on the game pole this year with their archery equipment

Blake (age 12) killed this massive buck in early October

And Seth (age 8) took a doe just a few days later

Seth was actually “there from the very beginning” so to speak...he was born November 10, 2009 the first day we arrived for our first hunt up here in Woodbury County. He made it home on from the hospital November 12th just in time to take a TGP with the big 9-point I shot on Mike’s farm just over the ridge behind their house

All set at the Lower Dance Floor...we moved a second stand below a tank dam based on the majority of the movement we saw last season in this location. I’m about 150 yards north of the spot I was in last season. Walked around around three freshened scrapes on the walk across the tank dam and there is a tree shredded 20 yards away in a primary shooting lane

All set on a new stand we put up this summer. I'm up a ridge a ways on a bench above the corn field and river. I have 2 major trails that cross out in front of me.
