          we used the outfitter's gun (actually it belonged to the guide who has the permission to hunt on the property where this deer was taken)

          they call them stalkers, not guides, over here - and that's exactly what we did to get this nice little "crackah" of a buck

          Court will post the story when she isn't on her phone -- that plus the fact that it's 11:20 over here and we leave to go hunt in the morning at 4:15

          The actual gun use was kind of interesting - the gun wasn't ever loaded until we were ready to shoot, and was in a gun case until we got onto the property and then back in the case before we left the farm where we hunted.

          Every time a shell was loaded in the chamber, he showed us both and then every time he unloaded it he showed us the empty chamber.

          The bolt was open every time it was put back in the vehicle and he mentioned the bolt being open each and every time.

          Not a bad practice, just a little different than the way we do it.

                That is a trip I plan on doing. Beautiful country, friendly people I'm sure glad you got to go and share it with us.
