The good in this season for me, Sam is looking the part...Even better, he's faithful enough to play two more seasons. The defense will come back around, they're still headed in the right direction.

Sam Ehlinger is the only player since at least 2000 to put up the following numbers through his team's first 9 games and he only played in 8:

15+ pass TD
2 or fewer INT
64%+ comp. pct.
300+ rush yards
9+ rush TD

He is way ahead of Colt who was a redshirt sophomore. Now if his team could just play like Colt's the next two seasons.

GP just said in his presser that 36 guys have missed time this year(most ever in his tenure) and he's down 7 safeties since the start of Fall camp. Lost 2 more players for the year last weekend. Said it's been so bad that he has kickers filling defensive roles on the scout team during the week. Maybe that explains why the kicking game is so bad
