    My new favorite rodent trap

This time of year is when the rodents are trying to get in your house. The varmints have gotten into my attic in the past so im trying to kill them before they find a way in. They have figured out how to avoid glue and snap traps. I bought this zapper and in the last 3 weeks I’ve killed 4 rats 2 mice and a squirrel on my back porch and in the garage. You can plug it in or use D batteries - I just put in a daub of peanut butter. They crawl in and “ZAP!” Easy peasy and no guts or blood - you also don’t need to worry about your pets getting into it

Not one critter has taken a dirt nap in mine.

Yeah the reviews were mixed - some said they didn’t catch anything others were piling them up. I have no idea why some traps work and others don’t from place to place. I bought it on Amazon. When you catch one you just dump it out

Tractor supply has them says the internet. @ least the Lake Jackson store has a couple different brands. $50-$60. And yeah, the reviews were mixed.

That looks pretty cool. When I was in middle school back in the late 80s/early 90s, we had a science fair. Guy made one with the same concept, but out of 1x4s and a stripped extension cord.

I've been thinking about making one. Hardware cloth and an extension cord

You might have to do better than this setup...

Wonder if they could make a bigger version you could bait with corn. Like deer height.
